The Sailplane Grand Prix is the ultimate gliding challenge. The top 15 UK competition pilots and 5 international entrants will race head to head at speeds of over 250kph in a new competition format designed to astound spectators and push pilots to their limits.
This is a truly unique event: The final of the UK qualifying Sailplane Grand Prix plus a spectacular air display, together with the most sophisticated corpoprate hospitality available.
Your marquee is right on the finishing line. There is no better vantage point from which to view the aircraft thundering past at ground level after they trade height for speed in a final dash for the line.
The sleek carbon fibre and kevlar machines will do battle over the Hampshire countryside and you will follow from the ground on monitors . They will start overhead in equally matched machines, and from then on it is down to the pilots.
Your guests will enjoy a full program of flying displays, airobatics and static exhibits of historic aircraft and gliders. There will also be an attempt by the British Disabled Flying Association to pull a £30 million DHL 757 airliner into the Guiness Book of Records, using only the determination of disabled volunteers and manual wheelchairs.
This is not just an air display. This is not just an historic air race. This is a truly rare opportunity for friends, guests and colleagues to witness an event which, in years to come, will be as well known as the Americas Cup.
The limited number of corporate hospitality tables come with VIP parking, free entry and the best view on the airfiled. All this plus spectacular catering and service.
On arival in the adjacent VIP car park, your guests will be served canapes before they sit for a succulent buffet: cold meats, fish, salds, fruits, deserts and coffee. And later in the afternoon we will serve a traditional english cream tea.
A full wine list and cash bar will be available throughout.
There will be an opportunity to meet the display pilots, and the competition pilots too after you have followed their race with GPS/satellite tracking and live commentary.
